Question is, does it work? YES! We have a 14" round bottom wok which sits nicely in this rack providing much needed stability. Without it the wok would wobble on top of our electric stove top which could be a definite burning hazard.
Measurements? It is approximately 1 7/8" high, 8 1/8" in diameter at the top and 10 1/4" wide at the bottom. It is the PERFECT size for one of our large stove rings. We have a glass top electric stove. (See pic.)
My only complaint which is really not a complaint but an observation is that the wok bottom does NOT touch the stove top therefore I found I needed to cook on HIGH for it to be effective. You won't get the same results that you would using gas flame like you see the Chinese chefs cooking with.
PLEASE NOTE that you sit your wok in the WIDE end with the narrow end of the rack being in contact with your stove top.
We purchased this item at full price. We were not required to write a review but chose to do so. Thanks, Liz

and the ring constantly slides across the burner grates.
I bought the "12356 Alsr001 Steel Wok Rack, Medium, Metallic"
- ring - when I bought the wok. It is lightweight, well sized to my new
14" Yosukata carbon-steel wok. If you don't have a 'hob' that will hold
your wok securely¹, keeping it from rolling off of the cooktop, and you
want a solution without researching +/or committing to a cast-iron
type wok ring, then this is an adequate, lightweight, inexpensive,
stainless steel², classic choice!...if it is plated with stainless,
but not SS all the way through, have to give it a negative buy recomendation.
¹ I recommend using it large side up for a 14" wok, maybe better small side up with smaller woks
² the high heat will 'color it up' with a bit of rainbow, but it also appears to be corroding a bit [picture] or possibly it's a SS coating or plating that's wearing away in normal use?!

Remember that this style is for electric heat.
If you put it on gas (as I did) the little holes become flame throwers: It actually directs the heat away from the wok by making angled flame jets shooting out the sides.
I use this for my electric only.
(For my gas range, I ordered a "Chrome Steel Wire Wok Ring" and it was the cat's meow. Wok noticeably hotter.)
