Ridiculous Planting Directions

Ridiculous Planting Directions
Received the seeds today, and the packet directions state: To break dormancy, after sowing seeds in a flat, keep at 70 degrees for 2 weeks, then 4-6 weeks of cold at 30 degrees. Increase temps to 40-50 degrees to initiate germination.So... I'm supposed to plant the seeds in a starter tray, keep it at room temp for 2 weeks, then put the whole starter tray in my freezer??? Then somehow I'm supposed to assure 40-50 degrees somewhere after that?I'm going to try doing a standard cold stratification and just hope for the best--who has room in their freezer for a seed tray or a whole second fridge to maintain 40-50 degrees?
Thank you for your feedback

This came with no planting instructions or markings to say what this seed is. I guess I’ll find out after they grow.
