Concrete is an excellent surface for a parking area or driveway, but there are a number of ways you can transform a concrete area that you don’t need for a consistent parking space.
With the use of a professional company to paint your space, you can make big changes to an area that isn’t used or needs an upgrade. Think outside the box and you can create opportunities for fun and enjoyment from a simple area of concrete.
Set Up Traditional Games
If you have young children around, consider painting hopscotch, four-square, or other traditional games for the kids to play on.
If this is for a school, think about how children use the space and how you can improve it. Look for ways to get kids moving, set up a maze, or an area to play marbles. When you use paint to create a play area out of concrete, the children will love it.
Create an Activity Path
Older children love to feel challenged. You can use your concrete surface and some paint to make an activity path that will keep kids busy.
For example, the path can include stepping stones, zig-zags to follow, shapes to hop over, etc. You can encourage children to use the space by timing to see how long it takes to complete the tasks. This can be as long or as short as you want, depending on the space you have.
Improve an Existing Court
When you already have an existing tennis court or basketball court but it is old and faded, it’s time for a new paint job to bring the court back to life. A small investment in a professional paint job will give your court a new look and be more attractive to kids who want to play.
Don’t allow the space on your property to be wasted. When you have an area of concrete, it’s time to get creative about how you use this space.
